If a police officer’s job is to uphold and enforce the law — literally their one and only job description — and you knew that almost half of police officers think they’re above the law, what does that say? If half of them admitted it on a survey how many more do you think actually feel this way?
What if I told you half of doctors don’t care about patient well-being, or half of farmers don’t care about growing crops, or half of our presidents dislike the public?
The law in itself is super problematic and terrible, but if on top of that police officers don’t even adhere to that at the very least, what does that tell you about the justice system?
Can I have the source so I can email this to my dad
Can I have the source so I can nail this to the doors of city hall?
I refuse to comment on the “facts” presented in this graphic but I’d just like to point out that this is not, in fact, a “neutral look” AT ALL. There is CLEARLY a negative connotation associated with this. If you’re gonna promote negative propaganda, at least label it as such.
This was about as neutral as it gets. They didn’t use slander or anything like that. If you want to stay blind then go ahead, but as a first responder, think of it this way, if a firefighter in your house did something wrong, or illegal, would you report it? And how would everyone else around the house treat you because of it?
Last week I shot a roll of film that I’d got free with a second hand camera. When I got back the scans I found out that the roll had already been used by the guy who gave me it and so I had double exposed it. By chance, both of us had taken a photo of a motorway landscape and this was made. His photo is from the inside of the car looking at countryside and my shot of an urban motorway is best seen on the left hand side.
